What your team will be able to do
- Put mental health learning into everyday supportive conversations
- Develop wellbeing champion confidence with guided learning
- Use agreed reviews and resources to keep support within clear boundaries
Ongoing support to help put your learning into practice, with monthly Zoom support calls and guided workbook exercises. A support programme—not a separate first aid qualification or clinical service.
These are educational courses and workplace support, not therapy, diagnosis or clinical treatment. First aiders learn to listen, support and signpost—not to replace professional care.
20+ years of first aid training experience
NEBOSH qualifications, including Managing Stress in the Workplace
University of Central Lancashire qualification in mental health and wellbeing
Practical learning helps teams listen, support and signpost, with clear boundaries. HSE’s six Management Standards—Demands, Control, Support, Relationships, Role and Change—provide a framework for managing work-related stress. Training supports, but does not replace, your organisation’s risk assessment or professional healthcare.
Tell us about your champions, their previous learning and your organisation’s needs. Ask about the programme’s structure and support arrangements before committing.
